Join Fillip editors and guest artists as they present a brief history of independent contemporary art periodicals in Vancouver. This discussion will offer a glimpse into the art scene as it relates to local responses to global art criticism and independent magazine and broadsheet publishing while also addressing the present state and possible future of contemporary art publications in cities outside of the traditional art capitals.
