Speaking of collaborative art spaces in South Lake Union, in addition to NineOneOne Media Arts Center, I should also mention Drop City Gallery, lower level 964 Denny Way. This is a newish space with a pretty philosophical narrative beginning, check out their website for the history. Their mission to “to introduce an approachable venue for creative concepts, culture, and dialogue in our community,” begins with the inaugural exhibition A Ben Waterman Project: Reckoning of a Mile opens on Friday, December 7th from 6-9pm.
