Andrew Sloat is one of the best designers around. His firm, Drainage Ditch (Sloat means drainage ditch in Dutch) designed the Aperture-published An-My Le: Small Wars, Stephen Shore: Uncommon Places, and Daughter of Art History: Photographs of Yasumasa Morimura. They are all beautiful books with elegant, super-smart design.
What I didn’t know (lots of things?) is that in addition to making some of the finest books around, his firm also works in video and interactive media. This one, and his 22nd Amendment piece, seem particularly timely. You can see even more here.
