The Brink is a fantastic new award given every two years to an emerging artist from Washington, Oregon, or British Columbia supported by John and Shari Behnke and adminstered by the Henry. The selection committee for this inaugural go-round has identified a short list of six finalists. Those artists are Matt Browning (Seattle), Alex Felton (Portland), Aaron Flint Jamison (Portland), Isaac Layman (Seattle), Gareth Moore (Vancouver), and Isabelle Pauwels (Vancouver). Congratulations to these six folks and a very warm thank you to all the nominators and artists who provided materials for the committee to review. We truly appreciate the depth and range of work that is being made in our region! The winner of The Brink will be announced at the next Henry Open House on April 17th!
