A quick peek in the Henry archives has revealed this fun piece of history. A letter written by the Art department from Kirkland Union “A” High School in December of 1930, requesting a group tour at the Henry! As you can see below, the group requested visiting hours from 1:00-3:15 pm … in order to still have time to catch the 4pm ferry from Madison Park to Kirkland. Many thanks to the Henry’s Exhibition Manager, Paul, for the fantastic find!
