Next week is the School of Art’s annual art sale:

    The UW School of Art sale is back!  BuyART!

    The University of Washington School of Art is please to announce that it is bringing back the semi-annual art sale, BuyART!  This is the first time in three years that you will have the opportunity to buy work from the entire school.  Not only will we have amazing art for sale, but we will also be having periodic musical performances and baked goods.

    BuyART allows you to directly support the students of the UW by purchasing the results of their talent and creativity.  The sale includes work submitted by current UW graduate and undergraduate students as well as Alumni in a broad range of disciplines, media, styles and price ranges.

    80% of the price of a work will go directly to the artist and 20% will go into the Jacob Lawrence Gallery Endowment to sponsor the gallery’s internship program.

    BuyART runs Tuesday, April 13th from 10-7 and Wednesday, April 14th from 10-4 in the Jacob Lawrence Gallery.
