If you’re up for a fun and casual art event this Friday, April 30, come on down to SAM where I’ll be giving a short tour as part of the museum’s “My Favorite Things” series. I honestly have too many favorites, so I plan to speak on a few pieces currently hanging in the contemporary art galleries including works by Gabriel Kuri and Rashid Johnson.
If you’re looking for something, say, a little more formal, Friday also brings current Open Satellite artists Heather and Ivan Morrison to the Henry for an artists’ lecture. Their exhibition just opened in Bellevue, don’t miss it!
