More Music Please.

Arts Crush kicked off their Classical music week here at the Henry on sunday with three hours of non-stop salon style music from some of the region’s best classical musicians – followd by a ruccus performance from Titanium Sporkestra outside on the Sky bridge.

The east galleries were filled with music performed by Odeon String Quartet, Duo Savoir Faire, and members of Lake Union Civic Orchestra – a classical intervention on a contemporary exhibition that was itself an intervention on the Henry’s permanent collection – META. The robotic hum and sway of SBC’s piece punctuated the afternoon performances in a way the was both comedic and insightful.  We should do this more often.
