A note from our good friends at PONCHO. These folks make the art happen. Give ’em a hand!
|Dear Friends of PONCHO:
PONCHO’s IFA Auction is taking place this October 3rd and we need volunteers! If you or anyone you know is interested in helping don’t miss an opportunity to be part of the fun, camaraderie, and excitement while making a positive impact in the local arts community at PONCHO’s 8th Annual Invitational Fine Art Auction, October 3rd, at the Sheraton Seattle Hotel. This year it is more important than ever to support our local artists and arts education. You can help make a difference.
Don’t miss the only chance to volunteer for PONCHO this year!
Register today at http://www.poncho.org/volunteering.shtml.
Without our volunteers, PONCHO simply could not exist. We encourage everyone to share our volunteer opportunities with friends, family, coworkers, neighbors and other acquaintances.
Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or comments at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Information about the Volunteering for the Invitational Fine Art Auction:
LOCATION: We have moved the Fine Art Auction to the Sheraton Seattle Hotel, which is located in the heart of downtown at 1400 6th Avenue, Seattle, Wash. 98101. The auction will take place in the Grand Ballroom.
REGISTRATION FEE: As a volunteer, you understand the invaluable contributions of our volunteers in helping PONCHO raise awareness and funds to support the local arts community. In light of the current economy, PONCHO has decided that this year it will not require the normal volunteer registration fee at the Fine Art Auction. Instead, we simply ask that those who can donate money to cover the cost of food and drink for the volunteers do so at their discretion.
VOLUNTEER TRAINING: Thursday, September 24, 6:00 – 8:00 PM – Sheraton Seattle Hotel.
ATTIRE: The Fine Art Auction is corporate casual. PONCHO T-shirts will be provided at training and on auction night at check-in. We request that volunteers wear black or khaki slacks/skirts (not jeans). Again, comfortable shoes (not sneakers) are a must! There will be a volunteer coat check area for coats and bags.
