Capture your inner animal in SHAG’s photo booth in the new Student Tech Lounge.

It’s that time again. Time for the Henry to open its doors anew with some great exhibitions like I Myself Have Seen It: Photography and Kiki Smith A new exhibition exploring the surprising role photographs have played in the development of Smith’s aesthetic and in the creation of her art. On view in the South Galleries we have the inaugural exhibition for the Brink Award, Isabelle Pauwels: Incredibly, unbelievably / The complete ordered field. And the 5th Installation of  The Gift Shop, A series of projects initiated by Seattle artist Matthew Offenbacher which have turned the Henry Art Gallery museum shop into an autonomous, artist-powered, alternative exhibition space. Also check out Vortexhibition Polyphonica – Opus Two, a Curatorial response to O1, by Elizabeth Brown.

For all you members and patrons of the Henry we will be presenting collections highlights in the newly reopened Reed Collection Study Center (6PM to 8PM preview only). We’ll also have music from DJ Darwin of Mad Rad and whiskey maple babycakes from Cupcake Royale, Pyramid Breweries, Delicious deals from Hallava Falafel and Dante’s Inferno Dogs!
