Can You Help Us Identify this Photograph?

Dear Hankblog readers,

We are seeking information!

Please help us improve the scholarship surrounding Seattle pictorial photographers from the early 20th century.  In conjunction with our current exhibition Shadows of a Fleeting World: Pictorial Photography and the Seattle Camera Club we hope to enrich our archives with more information about these under recognized artists. The photographs in this show were made from the 1910s through the 1930s. One photograph in particular (pictured at left) is currently unattributed. Research indicates this photographer’s name is possibly Kajimoto, but it may also be S. Nezu.

If you have any information pertaining to this photograph, or to any of the photographers listed here or their subjects, please contact the Henry Art Gallery – or let us know this evening at the panel discussion and reception for the opening of Shadows of  A Fleeting World.
