In Remembrance of Melissa Hines

We at the Henry are very saddened by the loss of Melissa Hines, a wonderful friend and tireless advocate of the arts in our city.

Those of us who worked closely with Melissa during her many years heading the Civic Partners program at the Seattle Office of Arts & Cultural Affairs will miss her kindness, enthusiasm, grace and leadership. Melissa generously contributed her knowledge and experience to benefit the art makers, educators, and presenters in our community. We will miss Melissa’s lovely spirit and we will remember her as someone whose dedication to the arts made Seattle a more interesting and beautiful place to live.
