It’s that time of year again, when the Henry hosts an exhibition of thesis work by the graduates of the University of Washington’s Master of Fine Arts program. Throughout their program, students worked with advisers and other artists to develop advanced techniques, expand concepts, discuss critical issues, and emerge with a vision and direction for their own work. Pieces in the exhibition were selected with curatorial assistance by Jim Rittimann, Henry Art Gallery head preparator and exhibition designer.
Of course, to kick it all off, there was a party last Friday. Family, friends, and colleagues gathered to get a peek at the students’ work and share congratulations. If you missed it – check out the pictures here in the Henry’s Flickr stream. You can also see the exhibition in the North Galleries until June 19th.
