The Week Ahead @ The Henry

We love the energy at the Henry the week of an opening. True, some might call it “frenzied,” but we like the term “celebratory.”

On Saturday, we open David Hartt: Stray Light and The Photographs of Ray K. Metkzer. These two complementary exhibitions will be in our upstairs galleries.

On Thursday, will we will host a private patron preview and tour, allowing our patron members early access to the exhibitions and to the opportunity to meet exhibiting artist David Hartt.

At 7 pm that same evening, Mr. Hartt will be giving a public artist lecture in the auditorium. You are invited! Check out last Friday’s blog post for more information and get your tickets here.

Are you a new or returning UW student?

As part of the UW’s everpopular Dawg Daze, the Henry is hosting our annual Fall Fête to welcome students to campus and introduce them to the Henry. It’s FREE to students (and for UW students only; the rest of you will need to hold on until our Open House on October 25th) and will feature a scavenger hunt as well as root beer floats and free bites from Molly’s Cafe. It’s from 6-8pm and the root beer goes fast, so don’t dilly dally gettin’ here.
