Critical Collaboration Session: Transportation

We invite you to join us for our second session in our ongoing partnership with the UW College of Built Environments and our Test Site project Design Lab: An Open Sketchbook on Aurora Avenue. During this session, we will explore the issues of identity, place, and civic infrastructure through design. Thursday 4:30-7:30 PM and open to the public.

Artist Lecture: Stephen Vitiello


Stephen Vitiello is an electronic musician and media artist. His sound installations have been presented internationally including at MASS MoCA, the Whitney Biennial, and the Cartier Foundation, Paris. Originally from New York, Vitiello is now based in Richmond, VA, where he is an Associate Professor in the department of Kinetic Imaging at Virginia Commonwealth University. This annual series is organized to accompany the course Art 361/595 Critical Issues in Contemporary Art Practice. No matter what school, department or year, all graduate students are invited to our graduate student happy hour this Thursday from 4:00 – 7:00 PM. We invite you to enjoy the galleries and current exhibitions, go a Haiku Hunt, get personal in the Confessional Booth and help yourself to the free food and beer!
